Owls, 2003
A young owl is protected under the wing of an adult. They both sit on a rough trunk-like pedestal of Russian black granite and supported by a base of red Brazilian granite. Placed in the center of a major hallway in the Dartmouth Medical Center, the owls greet patients and visitors to the hospital.
