Piper, 2006

This life-size bronze portrait of a client's dog, named Piper, is installed in front of their Boston residence. He was made to peer through the cement fence onto the sidewalk on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. One paw is resting on the lower part of the fence and her bronze tennis ball is placed nearby. Several home visits and lots of photos provided the basis for this interpretation of the real dog, Piper.

Medium: Bronze.

Location: 21 Commonwealth Avenue; Boston, MA
