Fiddlehead Family

Description:

This piece was donated to the library in honor of the donor’s parents, who spent a lot of time in this library. I showed him several ideas before he chose this design from a small model I had made. I have worked with several clients in “giving the gift of art” to a non-profit institution. When the funds are donated directly to the institution for the sculpture, the donation is tax deductible. This client chose a quote from Emerson to have inscribed on the edge of the circular base/bench along with the names of his parents – “If we can touch the imagination we serve.”
