Hearts and Hands

Description:

This piece is called “Hearts and Hands – A Tribute to Health Care Workers.” I designed this bronze and marble piece to honor all those heroic health care workers during the pandemic. Health care workers take care of their patients with love and compassion using both hands and hearts. It was an honor to have been asked to create something in their honor by an anonymous donor and to have nearly my entire family and many dear friends in attendance at its dedication. Bronze casting was done by Bob Wright of Vermont Custom Casting in Randolph Center, VT. Enlarging was done by Glenn Campbell of Campbell Plaster and Iron in West Rutalnd, VT. Marble bench was made by the Fabbioli of Vermont Verde Antique marble in Barre, VT. Sign was made by Sparky Potter of Wood and Wood in Waitsfield, VT. The whole piece was entirely Vermont made.
